: Before starting the prayer, make the intention to perform the prayer, and then begin the recitation of Fatiha.
Before starting Fatiha, it is Sunnah to recite Ta’awwuz and Tasmiyah. Below is the detailed method ( tarika )
: Say: "Ya Allah, accept whatever Quranic verses I have recited and the food present here, and send its reward first to our Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam)."
