The video could involve:

Ethical and Contextual Concerns

The AI isolates facial landmarks (eyes, nose, mouth, jawline) from target images.

: Creators typically gather thousands of images and video clips of the target from interviews and public appearances to "train" an AI model. video title emma stone deepfake mondomonger work

Visuals and Technical Craft

: Governments globally are introducing strict penalties for the distribution of non-consensual deepfakes, classifying unauthorized face-swaps under defamation, copyright infringement, and digital privacy violations.

: Algorithms ingest thousands of facial expressions, angles, and lighting conditions of a public figure like Emma Stone . The video could involve: Ethical and Contextual Concerns

: Advanced AI models like Stable Diffusion and Flux allow creators to develop hyper-realistic "digital clones" in as little as 15 minutes using small datasets of images.

Feeding this data into an algorithm to "teach" the AI the geometry of her face.

Using insightface or FaceRecognition libraries, the creator extracts 10,000+ facial landmarks from Stone’s filmography. Key sources include: : Algorithms ingest thousands of facial expressions, angles,

: The creation of deepfakes involving real individuals without their permission is a major area of concern regarding privacy violations and the spread of misinformation. Many platforms have moved to ban such content as it often targets women and creates harmful, deceptive media. Risks and Warnings

While early deepfakes exhibited telltale signs of manipulation—such as unnatural blinking, blurry edges, or shifting lighting—modern open-source repositories allow desktop users to generate highly realistic, high-definition videos that easily deceive standard viewer scrutiny. Legal and Ethical Implications

The algorithm swaps the faces, using sophisticated alpha-blending and color-matching matrices to ensure the edges of the face mask blend flawlessly into the original footage.

Celebrities like Emma Stone (who recently noted she prefers being called ) are frequent targets because their likeness is widely available online. This abundance of high-quality footage makes it easier for algorithms to learn their unique facial movements and expressions. The Risks of Deepfake Proliferation

  1. My friend was trying to add herself to my Fitbit.
Guess what she added all her friends!!!
Owen to. And blocked EACH one of her friends.
I don’t want to block her friends I want them off my phone!!!

    • Hi Peggy,

It sounds like she added herself and friends to your phone’s Contacts app instead of the Fitbit app.

Once contacts get added to the phone’s contacts app, rather than block them, I suggest you open the Contacts app and delete them. It will be tedious since you need to do this one by one.

Now, to add friends via the Fitbit app. Open the app and tap the Community tab at the bottom. Then tap the upper tab for Friends and choose Add Friends. Instead of Connect Contacts, at the top choose either email or username (if you know it.) Then enter the email or username of your friend and send them an invite (they must accept the invite to make the connection.)
