MoI3D V5 (Version 5) is the latest major evolution of the software. While older versions focused on perfecting the core Boolean and curve tools, V5 brings modern computational power, updated geometric engines, and highly requested workflow enhancements to the table.
V5 introduces Groups, which can be created using the menu on the "Objects" section of the Scene Browser. This dramatically improves organization of complex models.
The point picker in the Polyline command now allows angle values relative to the previous line segment. Users can input polar coordinate values like 5r45 (5 units at a 45-degree angle) or 9L20 for a line 9 units long on the left side at a 20-degree angle. Even simpler, entering just R20 creates a tracking line at a 20-degree angle on the outside from the last line segment, while r20 does the same on the inside. Moi3d V5 Beta Download

Beta software can sometimes be unstable, but Moi3D betas have a historical reputation for being incredibly solid. Michael Gibson develops the software meticulously, meaning the V5 Beta is often stable enough for daily production use.
If you are new to MoI3D, a trial version is available so you can test the software before committing to a purchase. Many community members recommend this approach, noting that MoI3D "is very precise CAD software and if they wish to customize my 3D models, they can download trial version."
