Brkovi's formation in 1989 marked the beginning of an era in Serbian rock music. The original lineup consisted of Goran Brković (vocals, guitar), Zoran Ogradić (guitar), Slobodan Dobrić (bass), and Miroslav Brković (drums). Their debut album, "Pružaj mi snagu" (Give Me Strength), was released in 1992 under the PGP-RTS label.
